Hi, my name is Lizzie Smart. I’ve been working for the U-Night Group for 2 years now, after doing a degree in Events Management at Blackpool and the Fylde College. I was lucky enough to win the Newcomer of the Year award at the National Learning Disability and Autism Awards 2015.
My favourite food is pizza and I enjoy watching films at the cinema.
The best part of my job is meeting so many interesting people and being able to put the things that I learned on the course into practice!
Hi, my name is Lucy Hamlin, I live in Accrington and have two children and three chickens.
I have worked in the voluntary sector since 2010, working mainly with young people and young adults with learning disabilities.
I enjoy zumba and go to a class every week. I also enjoy getting out on my bike when I get the chance to. I spent 4 days cycling from Workington to Newcastle in 2012 and would love to do something similar at some point.
I’m looking forward to this role because its an exciting project to be working on and its something I can see that will really take off across Lancashire.
Hi, my name is Rachel Lambert, I live in St. Annes with my family and dog.
I have dwarfism which means I am smaller than my peers and a tracheostomy that helps me breathe. Hobbies include street dancing, playing Boccia and air rifle shooting. I am also a freelance photographer where I photograph events for local businesses and charities.
I have volunteered at various charities and organisations in Lancashire. I was awarded 2nd place for High Sheriff of Lancashire’s Young Citizen of the Year Award for my volunteering services. One thing I love about being an Events Coordinator is getting to meet new people and helping them make friends or develop relationships.
